This is a very nice 1972 Fender Thinline Telecaster in Mahogany,

In very good condition for the year. The slim C-shaped neck with its 41mm top nut is a joy to play. Bullet truss rod, three-bolt tilt neck version, It has a very nice playing action. The frets show some wear but have life left in them and they are nicely polished.

It only weighs 8.12lb so it is super comfortable,

This guitar has been used but cared for in the past. Two humbuckers, the neck reads 10.07k and the bridge reads 10.56k, It looks like the pickup covers have been re-soldered onto the base plate in the past.

The neck dates "3 September 1972" as does the original tone pot. The blade selector is original, the volume pot has been replaced and it has a replacement pickguard (The original will be included in the case when sold) The Black Tolex Fender case is the original,

It has numerous chips dings and small marks but nothing nasty and all in keeping with its age and use,

All in all a very nice old vintage Thinline Tele in a cool finish,
