1988 Ibanez JEM77FP Floral signed by Steve Vai. An awesome and iconic piece in its self but even cooler to be signed by the man himself. This example is from 1988 and is in mostly original condition aside from a replaced jack and some finish touch ups. There are a few large areas of damage to the guitar as it was very clearly heavily played throughout its life. 

The neck on this guitar feels incredible and it is so played in and smooth it plays incredibly! The frets are original and show minimal wear despite its use and the rosewood board has naturally been oiled to a really nice smooth sheen. Like many Ibanez guitars of this age the neck pocket does show some cracks to the finish. The guitar feels super solid so this is nothing of concern.

The electronics other than the jack on the guitar are original and it sounds great. One strange feature of this guitar is the lack of holes being drilled for the string retainer and truss rod cover. Unfortunately not something we could find any information on but something worth mentioning! 

The guitar comes with its original hard shell case as well as a bunch or case candy from the Steve Vai concert that the guitar was signed at, pretty cool!
