An absolutely awesome and very well looked after and maintained Gibson Les Paul Custom with original case and hang tags from 1996 in ebony. A classic guitar and for many one of the absolute best! These 90's customs have a great reputation and for good reason. This particular example is in great shape with only very minor marks to show of and very clean throughout. 

The electronics remain totally stock though on an old invoice in the case it does say the originals may have been out and in again, however the solder work is great and hard to tell either way! This particular year of the custom feature the large bean button grovers which give it a real '50s look which is really cool. 

The specs are fairly standard on these with a mahogany body and neck with maple top. The bridge on this example is original however the saddles have been replaced though a new bridge with the old saddles is present in the case. The guitar is a decent weight so has also been fitted with Schaller strap locks, the counterparts of which are in the case along with the original strap buttons and screws. 

The only non original part on the guitar other than the saddles currently are the frets. This received a full jumbo refret from Mansons guitars in 2006 and the work is flawless and the guitar plays fantastically with a nice low action and perfect clear notes up and down the neck. The guitar has been seldom played since the work and as such shows very little wear to the frets at all. 

The truss rod works perfectly as do all of the electronics and hardware, a great playing guitar that required very little maintenance to get it playing perfectly for sale. As with all used guitars here at Guitarbitz this instrument has received a full setup and appraisal in our workshop and is ready to go with a 6 month warranty!
