Duesenberg guitars have a superb reputation for exceptional build quality and attention to detail, and mixing modern feel with cool retro look. This is a Starplayer Special - identified as a first-year 2002 build, prior to serial number introduction), and is a lovely example finished in Surf Green.

 It's in very good condition, with just very minor wear and blemishes on closer inspection (we've exaggerated this under direct studio lighting to make it more visible on the photos). The frets are in excellent condition and everything works as it should without issue.

This solid body uses an Alder body with the classic bolt-on neck design - a 25.5" scale maple neck with a comfortable medium profile and an Indian Rosewood fingerboard with Mother of Pearl dot inlays. It has vintage style tuners and a hardtail bridge.

Tone-wise you get a pair humbuckers that deliver a fat punchy tone that sounds great with clean or crunch. It can also be coil-split for single coil tones, which in combination with its 3-way pickup selector make it incredibly versatile. Finally it comes with a hardshell case to keep it protected - 1 missing catch but 4 working ones so completely functional.
