The Ashdown The Capri Soap is a short scale (30") bass, part of Ashdown's superb range of 'Roasted' bass guitars. With its standout offset body, handwound pickup, roasted maple neck and fingerboard, and affordable price point, it's a sure fire winner from the Ashdown team!
The body of the Saint Soap features a new, albeit already classic looking offset design. Married to the body is a 30" scale roasted maple neck topped with a roast maple fingerboard, delivering great looks whilst also enhancing the tone.
As its name suggests, the bass comes loaded with a Soap Bar pickup - handwound, all-passive and wired through simple master volume and tone controls (with CTS pots). Tonally, you are treated to a rich, organic bass tone with good amounts of punch.
With its standout looks, range of premium appointments and classic, punchy tone, the Ashdown Saint Soap Roasted bass is superb instrument sure to appeal to many bassists!
