The Cream T Aurora GX - here presented in a Naked Whiskerburst with Spalted Maple top - came about as an evolution of Cream T’s long-time pickup partnership with Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top. Billy's idea was to combine elements of three of his favourite guitars into one killer guitar. Beautifully built in the UK, the resulting guitar ticks all the boxes: looks, playability, and balance. This GX model is fitted with two flagship Cream T Cream of the Crop humbuckers, and also comes with the game-changing Guitar-X pickup swapping system. Supplied in a Cream T Softshell Case.

The original Billy F Gibbons-designed Aurora has here been customised with some more traditional features including a 3 way toggle and tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail. As with the BFGT it has a chambered body but without the BFGT rout. Beautifully handbuilt here in the UK. It comes with Cream T Cream of the Crop humbuckers as standard. Living up to Cream T’s peerless reputation for pickup design, these ‘pups are pure tonal luxury! They pull from the best of Cream T’s award-winning pickups, including the Billy Gibbons Whiskerbucker and Bernie Marsdens 'The Beast' Berniebucker, combining them into one stunning flagship humbucker.

Thanks to the built-in Guitar-X pickup swapping system, the pickups can also be instantly swapped out for any other swappable set (you don’t even need to unplug the guitar from your amp!). Cream T’s pickups can be purchased Guitar-X mounted, or the mounting system can be purchased separately and mounted with other humbucker-sized pickups of your choice.
