Vintage 1962 Vox AC10 Amplifier Combo The Cavern

I’ve just had the privilege of welcoming David into my home. Here’s his pretty much mint condition Vox AC10 1x12 Combo that he bought brand new alongside a Hofner 3-pickup guitar in 1962 from Rushworth’s, Liverpool. This was the same place The Beatles bought their Gibson J160E guitars from during the same period! David told me stories of playing these pair in The Cavern (the original one) one afternoon, and also standing near The Rolling Stones watching another band on a separate occasion.

He’s kept them ever since in incredible condition - some of the best I’ve ever seen - and only recently decided to sell them. I had the privilege of doing just that! It even comes with the original round Vox footswitch. I've literally not touched this since getting it. It works and works well, but I didn't want to put it through a service. This is by far the nicest conditioned I've had in. An incredible piece of history!
