Vintage 1964 Watkins Mersey Super 15 Hesseys 1x10 Amplifier

This is a wonderfully rare 1960s WEM Mersey Super 15 that I purchased lately from the son of the original owner. It was purchased directly from the heart of Liverpool, at 'Hesseys' (The Beatles' local music shop). Watkins were commissioned in 1964 to make 50 of these for the famous Hesseys Music Shop (check out the 'H' to the front panel), but Charlie Watkins quoted they ended up making much less! It is a truly rare amplifier and a one owner amplifier at that.

This comes in very good condition indeed, with only a few light scuffs throughout. It's the best one I've seen for sale for sure. Complete with the original Elac 10" speaker and gold footswitch.
